Simply because vested interests ensure that programs like SS, Medicare and welfare are poorly designed is not the fauult of the recipients. The one the right wing is fond of quoting "If you give a man a fish you feed him for a day, if you teach him how to fish he is self sufficient." Tell me, which of our plans do that? Where do they teach job skills? Almost all of that is done by private organizations and they don't get your taxes.

That's K since no one told me of any welfare plan Congress has come up with I guess I cans safely assume there are none.
