Figured you'd have a hard time understanding the simple concept of different ways to communicate and how things can be mis interpreted. From the evidence here, reading comprehension just isn't one of your strong points.

Here is something easier that you might have a chance of understanding:

I'll try again, since you seem to be clinging to some remote hope that Ms Jeantel has anything at all meaningful to say.

Credibility: The quality, capability, or power to elicit belief.

Ms Jeantel has NONE of this. Ms. Jeantel is devoid of this as it may relate to anything she has to say about this case.

And, of course, the more you post about her and whatever she says or thinks damages your credibility IMHO.

Have a nice day.

While I don't know you from a bale of hay, I tend to agree that they aren't like you.

It's been 30 yrs since I've worked there, and I worked at the nastiest joint in Missouri, but I met very few I would want for neighbors.

And while I'll admit it's a terrible thing to lock up a man and throw away the key...you can't just turn 'em loose. Unless you want some REAL vigilante justice.

They are segregated from society for a reason.

There was a serious communication problem between the witness (a young black teenager) and the jury as well as the lawyers (for the most part, older and Caucasian).

She was telling them one thing, and because of the lack of understanding of the terms she used, they mis interpreted it. That is exactly what happened during the trial as the interview linked above indicates.
I thought she communicated perfectly.

And I think the jurors understood her perfectly.

You have absolutely no understanding of cultural differences and how they impact communication.

Just because your life experiences are so far removed from her life experiences does not mean she was not credible or believable. It only means you don't have the capacity to relate to those who are different than yourself.... Just like the older, white jurors.

And, no, this post doesn't damage my credibility but I did find that comment amusing coming from you!

Some reading material for you...

In fact, this entire case was a clash of cultures.

It all boils down to the red state problem.
