Call me paranoid, but it gave me a bit of a chill. The scene was creepy as hell.

He had a gun?
Was it a Kimber, I've always wanted a Kimber.

I think I've figured out why the old guy was staring at you.
Due to his failing eyesight, he simply mistook you for Don Rickles.

No Dave that was just a warm and fuzzy feeling courtesy of the Second Amendment. Just because you have dementia does not mean you cannot go around locked and loaded....

I don't.
We've been over this, and the legality, but what it distills to is if you initiate situational instability, you're responsible for the chaos.
The bag on this is held by Zimmerman, no one else.

Exactly. We're watching this trial today and every bit of evidence points to Zimmerman being the aggressor. The kid is trying to flee from an unknown, "creepy assed cracker" who keeps following him through the neighborhood. When Trayvon heads to where Zimmerman can't follow in his car, Zimmerman pursues his "suspect" on foot.

Zimmerman claims Trayvon jumped out of the bushes and sucker punched him?
Sorry, Zippy - no bushes in that area. I really hope that this Dirty Harry wanna be takes the stand.

Nope, it sounds like he hunted down this kid who was minding his own business and murdered him. Some are saying that he should've been charged with manslaughter. The more testimony that I see convinces me that he should've been charged with first degree murder with special circumstances.
I'm just crazy that way, I guess....

That's what I'm talkin' about. Who in the hell did that senile old fart think I was? Was he on the edge of some Korean War flashback? Was he an hour late for his meds? Was he a retired CIA agent thinking he was on an assassination mission in East Germany, circa 1958? I dunno. But, he was creeping me out long before I saw the gun, then afterwards I was glad he didn't start shooting.

I think he should be released, told to run and then get shot in the back.
