You're thinking in terms of going back and rewriting it as a REAL bill and passing it on reconciliation or in terms of the "nuclear option"?

You shouldn't beat up on yourself so, Sandy. I've learned a few things from your posts.........

God no, there will be no "real bill". We got what we got and we're lucky if we get that. I'm all for passing on reconciliation, or the House passing the Senate bill- whatever. Get it done.

I was simply saying if they kill it, chatting here will be our health care plan. Fights the Alzheimer's and all.

Ah, I see! But you know, one of the two things I mentioned could be the way to go. The Republicans would have done one or the other long ago.

Better to be "Illierate" than "Illiberal"
If you are still going through any therapy or regaining any loss of something you once had prior to Stroke I wish you all the best in recovery.

Dumb like a fox, sir. Each and every one of your posts are the highlight of any thread. Keep hurling your hillbilly grenades.

I would agree since illiberal is actually a word. It means "not liberal".

Freakin' dim bulb.

You must be a blast at parties, I bet it gets boring having to explain everything to you over and over.....kinda kills a punchline.
Between the constant explanations and trying to get you to not run with scissors I bet you are alot of work.

Nah. The stroke was 5 yrs ago, I'm as good as I'm gonna get...That one was kinda "Fun" in a way, I had the whole summer off, would come up to women I didn't even know, & tell 'em, "Gimme me a Hug ! I had a Stroke !" Worked almost every time.... And got big grins from the "Victims" even if I didn't get a hug...People were so nice to me, even my Dad only yelled at me 2X the whole summer..Plus, I could do an absolutely KILLER Ozzie Osbourne imitation...The rehab hospital I went to, they told me I had about the best attitude they ever saw...I told 'em, "Hey, when they throw Lemons atcha, pick 'em up & make Lemonade..." When I finally went back to work, I said about anything "outrageous" I wanted to, naughty or otherwise, & would blame it on the stroke...But after 6 months or so, I kinda think the twinkle in my eye betrayed me...Hey, Fun is where & how you make it...An' you work with what you've got...
