The Upcoming Tea Party Convention

The Tea Party is about to have its first convention in Nashville. It'll cost $549 to attend, will feature the lovely Mrs. Palin as keynote speaker (speaker's fee of $112,000), and plans to clear $300,000 profit. If you plan to go, make sure to go properly attired with your Mother-of-Pearl Tea Bag jewelry ($89). What better way to show your support for this populist movement?

Reckon the liberals cross the country will decide TN is just a plain bad place to live .. and maybe stop moving here? We wouldn't complain. Land taxes are fine just the way they are now .. CHEAP.

Michele Bachmann is speaking too. I wonder how much her speaker's fee is.

The press is being barred from the convention floor. They're being "quarantined" in a specific part of the lobby.

Ya think the Teabaggers will eventually figure out they're being played for suckers?

I hear whenever Barney Frank is told about the "Teabagger's" he gets mad and a little excited. Use to be that just was date night for Barney.

Brought to you by the Party whose mascot weighs six tons and has a brain smaller than your fist.

Headed down there Writewing? It's only $549 dollars. While you're there you can stop off at Rush's favorite steakhouse, and pay $130 for a steak dinner.

Am I the only one who sees the irony in this?

Dave
