From the Salon link in this pile o'steaming crap from the Weekly standard.
"On the other line was the source who first let me know about the HQ opening. He told me I had missed the launch, pronouncing the donuts cheap and stale and the coffee cold, but the meeting was still going. And he told me the location of the headquarters: the second floor of a building named Watterson Towers.
We headed over.
The front door to the office building was unlocked, and there was no one behind the reception desk. Walking down the hall of the second floor, I recognized McConnell’s voice. He was talking about Sen. Rand Paul’s strategic use of the Tea Party in procuring his 2010 election.
The voices were coming from the other side of a nearby door, which had a window. I pulled out my Flip camera and started to record." Salon
You need to read more than just an opinion headline and subsequent bullcrap interpretation of events shoveled your way from your favorite wingnut publication, JB. Nothing has changed in how this guy recorded that conversation other than the full weight of Turtle McConnell's office has been brought to bear on this poor guy who was doing what he saw as right. McConnell is probably going to retain his seat through dirty dog tactics such as the smear campaign he utilized against Judd. What's really sad is that so many people on the right have no compunction at all about using lies and innuendo to achieve their aims. One day Kentuckians will see through this slimey bastard's ways and toss him out on his ear. That is if the teabaggers don't primary him first.
