I just saved a pair of Altec Super Duplex 604Es from a fate worse than death, walled up in an attic. Cask of Amontillado, anyone? I can't wait to hear them powered by my refurbed Maggotbox tube amps. PPP low end, SE hi end outta make 'em sing!

Just finished listening to Axis-Bold As Love by Hendrix.
Up next? Probably some Moody Blues...

One of several very fine DC guitarists (along with Link Wray, Danny Gatton, Nils Lofgren and Jorma Kaukonen).
I'd say DC had more than it's fair share.

Jorma is still my all time favorite on the 6 string, and let's not forget about Jack on bass, yet another DC kid.

Saw them at a free concert at American University when I was a kid. Hours and hours of Hot Tuna!

You aint built those speakers yet? Get busy, Son!

(Have you decided on a basic design yet?)

Yep, at times I miss the D.C. area. P St. Beach in Georgetown was a cool venue when the Park service would supply stage and generators to keep the kids off the streets. Out here in SoCal we don't get much in the way of seasonal change but today is a beaut! Warm wind blowin' outta the south over my shoulder has me wanting to check out the beach. My wife Patty was also transplanted to D.C. but from Connecticut. We both have fond memories. Her younger brother was one of those kids tossing tear gas cannisters back at the Park Police at the Washington Monument! Crazy kid! I hope the statute of limitations has run out on such behavior,. Me, I just had a thing for tossing boxes of Tide in the fountains on Constitution Ave and elsewhere in downtown. Good clean fun!
