The soshulists are in the states that turn over all their natural resources royalties to the government, for the "common good".
Would have happened here too, except we somehow accidentally got a decent governor one time, named Jay Hammond. Jay understood that government has an insatiable appetite for money and would piss away every dime in short order if allowed. He took a literal translation of our state constitution where it says the natural resources are the property of the citizens, and pushed the legislation that resulted in a tiny fraction of one percent of the state royalties being put into a fund for the citizens to decide how best to make use of.
Dividing up the spoils equally is not soshulism. The government sucking it all up, then handing it out "according to need", as they see fit, is soshulism.
