When you come up with a video of Romney talking with a twang in his voice and a corn cob pipe, you let me know. Did Romney spend 20 years listening to a back woods banjo pickin' preacher rant about how persecuted Cooter and Jethro and the boys are?

Heaven forbid! You know Obama is articulate, bright, and clean. Obama's black half has helped him more than hindered him. He, and his democratic friends, have not demonstrated an aversion to using race to their advantage when it is useful. Further, the post-racial Obama seems to relish stereotyping those that disagree with his big government policies as unenlghtened gun clinging bumpkins. No, the important point is not Obama's skin color, but the content of his character. A character that seeks to associate with most of the elite accoutrements that he consciously castigates for political gain.

Given the GOP's racist proclivities and tactics (e.g., the Southern Strategy, Willie Horton ...), Obama and the Dems would be guilty of political malpractice if they didn't highlight it.

And let's not forget Reagan's 1980 "states' rights" speech in Philadelphia MS where he launched his campaign.

Your pre eminent frat boys have been laughing up his sleeves at working stiffs for their whole priviledged lives, Was. What's really astounding is the average working shmoe Republican is swallowing this huge line of bullshit hook, line and sinker. Unless you are making $250k or more a year you should be making plans for a huge hit in your taxes next year, if R$R wins.
The loopholes that will fund his campaign promises will be the mortgage deduction and others that only help the middle class. It's the only way for the arithmetic to work Was. Carried interest and such are not on the table, no-how, no-way. That begs the question then Was, are you crazy enough to shoot a hole in your own boat for the priviledge of paying lip service to something that R$R will never do? The deficit will shoot right through the stratosphere with their plan and there will be no safety net left for ours and every other working stiffs family. That's these frat boys way of doing business. That isn't what I want our country to turn into-one big company town and a bunk with a job with Unicorp if you don't knuckle under play ball on their terms.

Maybe this all doesn't matter to you, I don't know? For all I know you are one of the lucky ones who has found a way to make a million bucks a year? If so, good for you, dude! Good job and an attaboy for ya! Just keep in mind that the infrastructure and educated workforce at your disposal that allows you your success isn't something that you built all by yourself. Many a taxpayer and grunt working stiff are the ones who built those things such as roads ,bridges, water supplies, waste treatment systems, railroads and on and on and on...check out the history of the AlCan Hwy before you drive on it next time. Eh?
