You cannot win the Presidency without support from the other party....Reagan is probably the greatest example, and so is Obama. This is why Romney remarks are so damaging to his chances. It is basically his admission that he cannot win independents and/or swing voters. He himself is pessimistic in other words and is not doing anything to change it. Didn't anyone else watch Morning Joe this am?

Outside of minor gaffs his overall take on Palestine is pretty accurate imo.

I disagree but it doesn't really matter. The President of the United States, the position Romney aspires to, must express a recognition that both sides have legitimate grievances. More importantly, the President must hold out hope of a just and equitable solution. Romney just expressed the opposite view and wrote off the Palestinians and their aspirations for peace ans sovereignty.

Utterly reprehensible.

His joke about how if he was born in Mexico he would have a leg up pissed me off. The comments about the 47% didn't surprise me at all. They've been running their mouths about how they think that the poor don't pay taxes and suck on the government teat. These are just more of the Randian, sociopathic, bloviating, pitiless opinions being voiced when they don't think anyone is listening.
