Barney
I heard that Viacom is the one dicking around with DirectTV. Probably in relation to DTV's commercial busting software. You need a DVR Barney, it's about the only way that I can stomach TV with commercials. Fast forwarding through the adverts is a pain in my ass but I get a certain amount of perverse pleasure zipping past all that shit. Cenc is a breath of fresh air, I tell ya. He pulls no punches and calls bullshit on the crapola spouted by the Repubs. He's can even be ascerbic to any Dems who haven't done their homework. I even like Gov. Granholm's segment.

You've got Reid and Pelosi my friend. I'd refrain from calling people whack jobs with those two in your camp. BTW, Obama is not exactly what I'd call bipartisan. Obama has a complete lack of bipartisanship throughout his, albeit short, legislative history both in Congress and in the Illinoiss state house. That he symbolically and usually for political gain proffers a veneer of bipartisan as President does not make a bipartisan.

You've got your opinions and I've got mine. None of the above would I trust to carry out the garbage but you've gotta admit that the numbers don't lie when it comes to filibustering by the Repubs.

Good point, however, the silly season never ends with the cadre of jackasses now purportedly running the country.

BTW, did you read that beautiful article by Parker wrt the death of her friend.

I did. I read her faithfully - one of my favorites. Humane, witty and level-headed.

I can't remember a President who thought his shit didn't smell like roses Jack.
Maybe Ike but he was before my time? You weren't expecting a invite to a sleep-over in the Lincoln bedroom were you? Just kidding with ya, man.

Yeah you are right, ole W could stroll into a speach like a gym teacher about
to dish out some paddlings.
I got my share of those, probably why I ended up conservative. Getting jacked
up against the wall on a weekly basis will make you respect authority rather
than question it.

Yeah me too but the knothead runs deep within me. Discretion is the better part of plotting the overthrow of the establishment. The last paddling that I got was kind of voluntary, I had a choice of an A with a wack for ditching class or a B in science in high school. I took the wack and went out and puffed up some hash oil.
