Like I said, a death-bed conversion. He recognized it as his only chance at a decent after-life (for his presidency).

I wonder how different the dollars in vs. dollars out comparison would look if the industrial military complex were taken out of the equation?

Yeah, just what I was thinking when I mentioned the government presence in Maryland and Virginia.

He also owns the Sands casino in Macau China. So some of the money going to Romney is from China. Also, Adelson has recently been accused of green lighting a loan sharking and prostitution ring in his China casino. He denies it, of course, but I tend to believe that he would do anything to make money. Prostitution is legal in Macau and I doubt he would own a casino in China if he wasn't tied in with the Chinese mob and the local police.

To top it off he is only backing the Republicans because he wants the US to enter a war with Iran. He could give a damn about the US. He actually said he regretted wearing the American military uniform and he wants his son to be a sniper in the Israeli army. He is nothing more than a bitter billionaire Conservative Jew.

Yep, there is no way unlimited campaign contributions could ever corrupt our political process. Adelson will expect a return favor if Willard is elected. That would be to gin up a war with Iran as I have already mentioned.

Food for thought.

I'd like to see your source for that.

Never mind. Here it is.

Virginia is 10th, Maryland is 18th and DC isn't really considered since it's a federal district.

Wrong again, Whell.

Do you actually believe the things you write or do you just pull them out of your ass and hope nobody checks?

Oh, and the People's Republic of California? That sink hole of liberalism? Forty-third, a net donor to the federal coffers.

John
Blue states pay taxes in and red states suck it up.

The reason Maryland, DC, and Virginia are fairly high on the list is that is were most of the Federal workers live.

Got nothing to do with the workers unless their wages and salaries are considered "federal spending" in the states where they live. On the other hand, all the government facilities in those states suck up real estate and infrastructure and pay no taxes.

What a time to wake up and smell the coffee! Seven and a half years to late BTW.

I didn't call them a state. I called them a top recipient. Remedial reading may be in order for you.

I wasn't factoring red and blue states into the equation. That's your gig, not mine. I only pointed out DC, MD and VA given their locus to that money cesspool which is our Federal Gov't.

We've been in a recession in MI almost constantly since the mid 1970's. You're not suggesting that if a hurricane comes though Florida or Texas that the recession plagued Michigan folks, including the laid-off UAW guys and gals, have an obligation to bail out all those rich plastic surgeons and old barons, are you?
