The libs are disappointing me. How can we be on the second page of this thread without a single "trailer trash" comment? I say she's a force to be reckoned with. Apparently Oprah had her highest ratings in many many years when Palin was on. One thing's for sure, it will be interesting to watch her.

Besides, you can take a couple of readings on the NY 23rd.

One is the Palin camp split the vote and handed a victory to the Democrats in a Republican district.

The other is that the Palin camp supported a 3rd party candidate 30 days before the election and damn near won. Even with the Republican candidate throwing her support to the Democrats.

Looks to me that the powers that be don't want a 3rd party.

You are correct, she is a force to be reckoned with...at least at this time.

Personally, I'd like to see a populist 3rd party. If she can help bring this about, then more power to her.

The fact that the Democrats despise her and the main stream Republicans don't much like her tells me something.

They're afraid that she might turn over their collective applecart. Left up to me, I'd run smooth over their asses with it.

But I always was a loose cannon.

Well, carpetbagging seems to be a popular sport up North.

Wouldn't want to mention any names, like "Hillary".

She *is* a force to be reckoned with. You are right! Make sure you tell all your right wing friends and rally the "base" on all the right wing web sites. Get out there and get that woman nominated!! Shoot, the DNC may even fund the effort.

Sauce for the goose, Chas! What about Minnesota?

If it's close enough they should be recounting and Al Gore should be proud.

In NY 23, Hoffman conceded, unconceded and then conceded again.
