Palin's march to the Whitehouse
If you guys can't see it, you better look closer. This women is building a machine. I just hope it's 2012, not 2016.

Now she just might create a conservative and populist voting block which will force the GOP away from business as usual, which I think is good. Or she may destroy the GOP as it is, which I also think is good. I'm not one to subscribe to the notion that the GOP, in order to win elections, needs to align themselves with the principles of the left. Why even have an election if both parties are one and the same, and they're pretty much there at this point. It would be nice to have one party which represents the little guys, as opposed to two parties which represent the special interests. Then again, a new and fresh populist party wouldn't remain so for very long once they made it to the Hill. Odds are, they would be bought off too. But it would be a breath of fresh air for awhile. Ya know Charles, two weeks ago I felt the exact same way, but now I'm starting to wonder. I think she's crazy like a Fox. I've also noticed that if you ask 10 conservatives if they think she will ever be prez, most will say they doubt it. However, if you ask them if they would vote for her, they nearly ALWAYS say, of course. Have you been following all her book stuff lately?

She was brought in to be a breath of fresh air and help Mccain's campain
appear younger. Well we all know how that worked out. I think they would have turned things around for the better but we will never know. Some People were so blinded by the war coverage that their vote for Obama was a vote against Bush and yet the war rages on but is only reported on the bottom ticker. It would be great to have some genuine people represent us but they are attacked by the opposite agenda and quickly made to look like fools. |
I dont think the republican party will hang their hat on her nor should they.

We couldn't see the magic of the Bush years and, therefore, had no desire to see McCain launch Bush's third term.... only to drop dead midstream and have Palin continue the journey. We sure were dumb, huh? Oh, and nobody can make you look like a fool if you don't help them. John |

And the liberals are giving her both barrels. From the 11 "proofreaders" to the cover on Newsweek, they're trying every trick in the book. You always draw the most flack whenever you're over the target. I also picked up her interview on O'Reilly. IMHO, she's not up to the task, and she doesn't really do well in one on one interviews. But I'm comparing her to the likes of Cheney. You can like him or hate him, but NOBODY bulls him around. Would I vote for her? That would depend on the political circumstances at the time, and what nitwit the Dems run against her. It's almost like a race to the bottom at times. Time will tell. Some people are more valuable on the sidelines while they let someone else run the ball. From a conservative viewpoint, she would be better on the sidelines. That another Palinesque sports metaphor just to stir up the libs, who are just waiting to pounce. And I'll beat ya'll to the draw...she would look pretty good with a set of pom poms. Let's see them fangs!!!!! Chas |

The special interests are still writing laws, we're still in the Middle East, we're still spending money we don't have, GITMO is still open, and the Patriot Act hasn't been revoked. But I will agree, no one can make you look like a fool unless you help them. Chas |
I hope they do run her in 2012, look what happened in New York's 23rd.:D
