No, it didn't. It had everything to do with him allegedly engaging in behavior proscribed by the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act. One's beliefs, however sincere, do not excuse illegal behavior. Similarly, sincerely believing that Biden "stole" the election does not excuse attacking the US Capitol and blocking Congress's certification of the election. Beliefs and behavior are two entirely different things (i.e., in this country, you are free to believe anything you want, but you can't engage in illegal activity based upon those beliefs).

If you are truly upset about religious persecution, you must have been really livid about Trump's Muslim ban. You should be similarly outraged by DeSantis' actions against Disney for simply expressing beliefs that he disagrees with. I can't seem to remember you objecting to either, however.
