Their actions are frequently perpetrated under the noses of IDF patrols because many individual members of the army approve the goals and the tactics of the settlers.

These are established facts. The Israeli government doesn't even try to deny them. On the other hand, though they decry them for their barbarism, they make no effort to prevent them.

Compare that, if you will, to the atrocities committed by individual Palestinians with the approval of and support from Hamas. Do you see a difference? Is one barbarism and the other self-defense? Which is which?

Help me out here Ike. I'm having a lot of trouble seeing any difference at all here. Aren't these equivalently inhuman? Aren't they equally monstrous? Aren't the authorities which countenance these acts equally culpable?
