I didn't say it was a righteous prosecution. I simply (and correctly) refuted your original assertion that he was persecuted for being Catholic. He wasn't. My entire family on both sides is 100% Catholic and I don't know a single person who has been persecuted for it in at least 4 generations, if not longer.
