Donald Trump's appeal is no more than a large segment of the population being so sick of the professional politician, news personality, and pundit that they could puke. In the meantime our standard of living has been declining for about 40 years. Bernie wants to tax it out of the rich and redistribute it which sounds good, but it will simply never happen. Seems like the hardest lesson for politicians is that the more you tax something the more it goes away. At this point I don't think anybody can do anything about it. If you try to bring manufacturing back by increasing tariffs it is going to really hurt the WalMart shoppers long before it creates any jobs. You need to go back 40 years or so and kick the asses of the leaders who let it happen to start with.
