I see this argument a lot. Drives me crazy. This isn't 85% of the world. This is America. We can do better.

I'm tired of hearing America can't. America can't provide affordable health care. America can't take care of people during difficult times. America can't afford educate it's children. America can't pay a reasonable wage. That's a load of BS. America can. America always has and always will. We have more intellectual capital than any nation on Earth, despite the war on education.

The American dream is still alive, thought it's under fire and on life support. But it's still there. And as is always the case, progress[n] will progress[v]. Things will move forward. And no number of false "patriots" screaming "America can't" will stop it.
