Just because Portland is the capitol of green, it really is ironic that people would think solar around here. Most of the year we are covered with clouds and/or getting pissed on by Ma Nature.

Since gasoline taxes are typically collected on a % of the selling price, you better believe it pays to keep those pump prices nice and high, limit supply.

Add to that most solar panels are made in China by government subsidized factories. Anyone wants to stick on of thos big wind turbines in the back forty they are welcome.

Not so. Fuel taxes are on a per gallon basis.
