Why in the world is Romney aligning himself with that nutbag Trump

I don't have a clue. Trump is an egotistic frat boy that inherited a whole bunch of money from his dad and then lost almost all of it, and what is it with that rodent, having a bad hair day, on his head.

Romney is doing himself a disservice associating with the birther Trump. Not to mention the fact that the other egotistical ahole in the mix is Gingrich.

Please Mittens please, please, choose Gingrich as your running mate.

I'm sure Newt and the egotistical pig are suckin' up for the VP spot. As far as why Mitt is not keeping them at arms length----Who cares? Let him sabotage himself.

I think it has more to do with the fact that Romney is afraid not to associate himself with Trump. If Romney were to openly dis Trump (as he should), Trump may open fire with both barrels thereby further confusing the nutcase base.

He understands that Trump can still energies a sector of the electorate needed to vote in November. So by keeping him associated in someway keeps the lunatic fringe in the party happy.

Or it could just be Romney is just hard up for friends.

I still do not understand why anyone likes Trump. He was an arrogant ass three decades ago and is the same today and is not representative of the wealthy IMHO. Is his show still being broadcast?

I believe so. As long as there is money in that ass fouling the cable lines with his presence, he will continue to broadcast. This is what we call, "The Free Market".................

I wonder if Romney has the cojones to distance himself from the crazies like McCain did in the last election?
He just might decide that throwing the birthers under the bus won't hurt him like Obama coming out in favor of same sex marriage hasn't been hurt.

Somehow I don't see Mitt having the backbone to publically rebuke Trump on stage tonite about his bullshit. We'll see...
