Very Long Shot, can anyone help?

.
Hi,

The following is a copy of a post I've just put on Audio Karma. Not sure if this is allowed but I can't think of any other group of people more likely to dig up the information I'm looking for.

This is about as long a shot as you can get but I am trying to contact the guy who owned the INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (prefix Nanyang?), in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) in the early 1970's. I met him around 1971 when I was driving Red Cross relief vehicles around and about Kuala Lumpur during the floods. His name is pronounced Tay Chin Tsay but I'm not sure of the spelling. He was a good friend of mine but as I've moved several time since then I've lost contact with him. Was anyone on AK visiting Kuala Lumpur around this time, or maybe has an email address for him?

Like I said this is a very long shot, but I've been amazed how much arcane information you guys can dig up when you put your minds to it.

Any help would be very much appreciated, my name is Jim, aka combwork.

Gook luck brother! I cannot even imagine where one would start looking for this kind of information.

Maybe you could get the Dog (the bountyhunter) on it?

Thanks cabinover,

Never heard of bountyhunter but I'll see if I can find him on list of members. Sometimes long shots work........

Sorry Jim. Apparently you folks over there on the other side of the pond don't get the same television channels.

Dog the bountyhunter is another "reality" show based out of Hawaii.
