My brother and his wife got Rona last week. Here's what happened.

He's 66. She's 36 and is a Mexican National. They went to a convention in Vegas about two weeks ago. When they got back she showed symptoms first, starting with a scratchy throat. The next day he woke up with a scratchy throat.

It included weird upper leg muscle pain neither had experienced before but it was pretty minor. They considered it to be a cold thing. He went ahead and attended all the meetings regarding the sale of our parents' property (that just completed). He did get ill enough that he had to take aspirin because of discomfort while trying to sleep. He said that when he stood up the discomfort went away, but he couldn't sleep standing up. He described it as body aches associated with the flu but much more mild.

And they got themselves tested and the results came back positive.

So, he has a friend in Honduras (it's where he owns a small home as well). She and her husband are near our age and they both had succumbed to the virus a month or so ago. They run a "free clinic" there where they get medications from the US to give to families in Honduras. One of the medications they give out to people quite a bit to stop all the "bugs" they have down there. This particular medication comes from the US with a label on the bottle that says, "For export only".

Anyway, This woman had very minor symptoms, but her husband got pretty bad. She gave her husband this medication as well as zinc and vitimin D. He was fine a couple of days after receiving the medication. She told my brother that she as been taking this stuff twice a month for years to prevent catching the stuff the people she serves in the area sometimes have. So this may be why she never showed any symptoms. She gave my brother a 20 day supply and he started taking it. He's fine now. His wife, being young, never really got past the minor symptoms I mentioned earlier.

BTW, my brother had never heard of this drug before and asked if I had. It's called Ivermectin. I told him Tractor Supply sells it, but for animal use.

Anyway, everybody is now fine. There is no obesity in any of the people mentioned and they are all tuned into Zinc, vitimin D and Ivermectin so all is good.

BTW, my oldest daughter and her husband got it last fall. They are both around 40 and it was just a three day thing, though they lost their sense of taste for about two weeks.
