As for their Confederate heritage, Oklahoma wasn't a Confederate state (nor was it even a state at the time). If these flags aren't a symbol of Oklahoma's Confederate heritage, I wonder what they actually represent.

The need to belong to some sort of rebellion - to be somebody (without either the capacity to learn about or care what that flag they are waving around means).
