Romney: I supported gay marriage and health care mandates years before Obama.

Well, that explains something: your inability to understand the English language is topped only by your inability to form a cohesive thought.

Or, is that symbiotic and not cause/effect?

Doesn't matter. Every time you type something -- incorrectly and ineffectually I might add -- you merely continue to undermine what little respect you may have garnered by being born an upright mammal.

Romney---"I was for it before I was against it."

One he could borrow from Kerry. Actually, he is far worse than Kerry.

Everytime I see those kids out proseletizing I'm reminded Dale Carnegie.

Not something usually associated together (God and Mammon) so I have always taken a dim view of these doorbell ringers. I usually interupt them and firmly tell 'em I'm not buying today and shut the door.

I stumbled into retail furniture and didn't get out for 17 years. (just a little sidetrack from pounding nails) The money was very decent for someone without a college education. One nice benefit to those furniture stores was the down time waiting for an up to walk in the door which I spent reading rather than BSing around a H2O cooler.

(I'm just learning to write, thanks to a bum shoulder. Not to mention youse bums!)
Stumbled into furniture LOL! When I became a RE agent I watched the vids etc, tucked a sold sign under my arm, took a deep breath and started around my neighborhood.

'Good evening. I just sold a house down the street and was wondering, are you or anyone you know thinking about buying or selling a home soon?' I was so siked for the 'nos' that when someone finally said yes I just stood there open mouthed! The mental picture still cracks me up.

Hope your shoulder heals well.

Selling mortgages is very similar.

I make >100 calls per day to warm leads.

To make $$$ in this industry, you need to sell 1.5 loans per week.
