Making these "law and order" buffoons actually follow the law.

I really enjoyed reading Judge Alsup's comments, especially this since I have been a long term employer and its not morally an easy decision to fire an employee, worse a long term employee.

If the Dems block pasage, of course Trump and his sycophants will blame them for shutting down the government, but what does it matter anyway. The Dem are in a hole, mid terms are months away and the electorate will soon forget it, but it sure as hell will get Trump boiling mad. This alone is worth it.
Block the bill, shut down the government while reminding everyone that most of the government employees are soon to be fired anyway.

Well Schumer and his cohort of weaklings just caved, so the CR will pass this week so that Trump can do what he pleases.
Buy a Tesla for his entire administration the their staff?

Sanders’s anti-Trump road show gives Dems inspiration
As of now, I would rather contribute money to Bernie's Town Hall movement than anyone else. I am a fan of the saying by Bill Parcells, "Expect Nothing, Blame No One and Do Something" and Bernie is doing it.

As would I because the Democratic leadership has gone radio silent

Another Kent State?
Columbia protestor arrested for overstaying student visa as tensions grow on campus
I went to school here in the US during the Vietnam era and campus protests were a common sight, all non violent and a great venue to meet girls, especially the loving kind.
Looks like the Trump administration is going to put a stop to it at Columbia (perhaps because they denied him admission) after they yanked $400M in grants. Whatever happened to the so called freedom of speech that the GOP were so fixated on before the 2024 election. Its a rhetorical question, with them its always "freedom for us, rules for thee".

Todd Blanche, U.S. deputy attorney general, said Friday that the Justice Department is working with DHS as part of an investigation into Columbia's "harboring and concealing illegal aliens on its campus."

For any tRumpers who may stumble by, the U.S. has tried to "annex" Canada before.

In case you missed it, Canada is still Canada for Canadians.

The bill is awful, but the government still lives to be fought for another day. Had the shutdown happened, Trump and Musk would have moved to fire all but the 'essential workers.' And blamed the ensuing ruin on the Democrats.
