The makers of Jack Daniels whiskey are alarmed about the one percent of their sales they'll be losing up North. I think what they're really alarmed about is other consumers (worldwide) of their product stepping away in support of Canada. There are many, many other whiskies to choose from.

New Study Links Believing in Conspiracy Theories to Having Brain Devoured by Worm

In another finding, having only part of a functioning brain makes one twice as likely to be in Trump’s Cabinet.

Great opportunity for the Dems in the Senate to throw a road block into Trump's presidency, the CR which is loaded to benefit Trump and the Republicans which the House passed yesterday with the slimmest of margins.
If the Dems block pasage, of course Trump and his sycophants will blame them for shutting down the government, but what does it matter anyway. The Dem are in a hole, mid terms are months away and the electorate will soon forget it, but it sure as hell will get Trump boiling mad. This alone is worth it.

Block the bill, shut down the government while reminding everyone that most of the government employees are soon to be fired anyway.

The Dem leaders might as well go down fighting instead of lamely waiting for the courts and/or the next election to fix things.

Here is a breath of fresh air from the Democrats, not really since Bernie is an independent. But some Dems are following suit and this could become Huuge.

Dems feel the Bern again

Sanders’s anti-Trump road show gives Dems inspiration

Quote:
Hundreds were turned away from a packed Bernie Sanders event at an Omaha hotel ballroom. A crowd of thousands showed up in Iowa City to hear the U.S. senator from Vermont go after President Donald Trump and his billionaire adviser Elon Musk. And Sanders filled a baseball stadium in Kenosha, Wisconsin, at a rally that felt like something from the presidential campaign trail.

As the Democratic base clamors for more action from leaders, the independent with a complicated, intertwined relationship with the Democratic Party has found significant enthusiasm on a tour of the country he launched last month to speak about Trump’s economic agenda. His “Fighting Oligarchy” tour has made five stops in four states since Feb. 21, targeting House districts with vulnerable Republicans who are weighing just how much to embrace Trump’s plans.
As of now, I would rather contribute money to Bernie's Town Hall movement than anyone else. I am a fan of the saying by Bill Parcells, "Expect Nothing, Blame No One and Do Something" and Bernie is doing it.

Making these "law and order" buffoons actually follow the law.
