Mebbe 30-odd years ago I was chatting with a guy in an airport that had work in Saudi, he said the pay was really great but kept a "bug out" bag packed under the bed, and depending on the situation would leave it there and go straight to the airport without anything at a moments notice of anything going wrong for him.
