We will have to agree to disagree. The GOP establishment candidates attack the Prez & Hillary harder than the top 2 outsiders. To me, it's just a revolt & nothing more.

It's clearly a revolt. No question about it. That said, what makes people prefer Trump to Carson or Fiorina? I'd say inflammatory, talk-radio style rhetoric is the first thing that comes to mind.

Finn, it's because of the leadership screwing them after every election.
When these establishment types claim they're gonna do this & that the first day in office, the voters don't believe them & won't believe them at any point during this primary.

Most voters don't know Fiorina's connection to McCain's run & her connection to the GOP.
That won't be the case much longer IMO.

Trump is the best entertainer.

No offense DJ but any voter who believes campaign promises like 'I'm going to repeal the ACA on day one' or 'I'm going to shred the Iran P5+1 agreement' are too gullible to vote.

Tea Party types and dittoheads (with considerable overlap) have now become Trump supporters. Maybe they're slowly coming to the realization that they've been the GOP's useful idiots since Nixon's Southern Strategy and Reagan's courting of Evangelicals.

The party's effective (and cynical) appeal to their class/racial resentments, gun fetishes, faith, homophobia, etc., has resulted in them voting against their own best economic interests. The party's odd coalition of big business and resentful, old, impressionable whites may be coming to an end. It's about time.

Looks as if the "gullible" have been cured.

You're making this too complicated. Everybody has an issue, but the Chamber Of Commerce's agenda doesn't fit with most Righty's desires.

I've supported Rubio, but if one of these top two keep winning, I'm casting my vote for which ever one of them is in the lead.

Cool. Just a word of caution, T'Rump is like any other rich f*$k real estate/used car salesman. He'll pick your pocket and bend you over a barrel and make you pay double for the lube/undercoating.

As somebody who buys & sells land & owns & likes working on Hot Rods, I'm right at home with all that.
No undercoating required out here.

Ted Cruz to Donald Trump as savior, one will shut down the government the other will simply eliminate it.
