Looks like this story is gaining some legs. Good.

"Another GOP senator — Sen. James Lankford (Okla.), who serves on the Senate Intelligence Committee — agreed with McCain and Graham’s decision to support a bipartisan investigation of suspected cyber intrusion by Russia in the U.S. elections.
“Cybersecurity investigation of Russian interference can’t be partisan,” Lankford tweeted Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Senate Intelligence Committee’s chairman, Richard Burr (R-N.C.), said Sunday that the panel “will continue to conduct vigorous oversight of all intelligence matters.”"WaPo

John Bolton, Trump's pick for Deputy Secretary of State, now says that the investigation into Russian involvement is a false flag operation orchestrated by Obama. WTF? Between this guy and Michael Flynn, Trump has surrounded himself with conspiracy theory lunatics.

It's rich that Bolton accuses the Obama administration of politicizing intelligence after his complicity in the build-up to the Iraq War in which there is no doubt that Dubya and Co. did exactly that.

I hope they do a very deep dive into alleged Russian hacking. I'm sure there are more juicy DNC emails that we've not seen yet.

The 'false flag' meme is such an embedded mindworm in those susceptible that Bolton can use it even when there's no conceivable way it applies. Incredible!

I'll bet you do. You seem a bit confused. Perhaps you should tune in to Rush today to get your marching orders on this issue. You're veering off course.

Even if the Russians did hack our election, which they didn't, I would call it an act of heroism on the same magnitude as that of Vasili Arkhipov, the Russian sub commander that prevented WW3 during the Cuban missile crisis.

If you don't agree with me, then you tell me what you think the consequences of Hillary Clinton's implementation of a No-Fly zone over Syria would have been?

With all the bodies in Syria there's no way Hillary could keep all the flies out.

Yet another profoundly stupid post. You keep outdoing yourself, Joad. BTW, Mitch McConnell just went on record saying that it "defies belief" that anybody in the GOP would object to an investigation into this matter. This is going to be fun to watch.

Based on your posts over the last week, you sound like you listen more than I do. I'll just wait for your next tirade to get filled in. Today, I'm streaming our local classical station. You might tune in, the music might help calm you down.

Cool.

If my heating bill gets a little higher than I would like it to be this winter I would also like congress to investigate the possibility that the Russians hacked my meter.

In the meantime better check your credit card statements and see if there is anything on there that you didn't charge. The Russians might have hacked that too.

OMG!

What if they've hacked this forum and are reading our posts as we type them!

Just in case they are:

Hi Vlad!

Howse it going over there in Moscow?

Having the usual cold winter?

Don't worry, I don't expect a response.

I don't want you to blow your cover.
