So Pete, I've been re-reading your right-wing radio talk-show gasbag responses to my list of GOP platform points...and I think it's worth some additional discussion. So let's take 'em one at a time. OK? I'll start.

I don't think you can legitimately argue that the GOP has not done what I've stated above. And maybe it's OK with you for the government to do the equivalent of walking into Walmart and putting a few K on the Visa knowing when the bill comes you don't intend to pay it. If that wasn't OK with you, I suspect you would have said so. But you didn't...

But we recently got a non-partisan budget deal that proves your comment to be utter right-wing radio talk-show gasbag bullshit. The 2 parties are so close on the actual numbers regarding deficit and debt as to be fiscally indistinguishable. The D's aren't pretending any more than the R's...so let's just have the GOP get responsible, agree to pay our obligations, and quit playing partisan bullshit, vote whoring, Russian roulette with the world economy, eh?

PS - as far as "repeated economic crashes" is concerned,I'm not sure exactly what other economic crashes you refer to...but if it's the 2008 meltdown (the only recent "crash" we've had), it had nothing to do with the debt, or deficit...and you know it.

And where precisely will they spend this mountain of US dollars? Because if China declares war and looks to have the capacity to win the dollar will not be worth a plugged nickle.

This country will not be destroyed from the outside but from within. Since most of our manufacturing base is either overseas or dependent on supplies from overseas we are no longer in a position to fight wars.

Your China "elsewhere" is more BS as M has so accurately pointed out. And it's speculative, it hasn't actually happened, and is just as likely never will. If you want to talk about the issue of the govt. shutdown, we can do that, but it's another subject and wholly owned by the GOP anyway. So...

This is not a challenge to my assertion that the repetitive debt ceiling game of chicken played by the GOP is nothing more than dangerous partisan vote whoring by House Republicans. It's a pretty lame challenge actually. However, I do understand that substantive comment is often a hinckey proposition for you right-wingers.

How's about you try again, or move on to a different point in the list since you've manage so poorly on this point.
