I can't quite politicize things that much. (I believe that everyone "tried," going back to Bill Clinton.) To me this was like a marathon game of Texas Hold'em in that sometimes you have the cards and other times you don't and are just trying to stay in the game. Obama appears to have been dealt a good intel hand at the same time that we had enough of a stake to make a big table move.

My hope is that this is like the Battle of Midway in WWII's Pacific. There was significant bloodshed and strife after but -- past that point -- it was just a matter of time and effort...
