oh yeah about my post, I don't see pointing out a truth to be judgmental, I guess it depends how you look at it
I really don't see how a prejudiced opinion can be accepted as an absolute truth...other than it is your truthful opinion.

But I'll give you points for being honest.

Don't knock philosophy, one of my hobby studies. At one point I had the run of a professor's library. He happened to be the one who held the Chair of Philosophy at McGill University in Montreal. Closest I ever came to a university.

Maybe I am missing something but isn't the GOP the party of God and "my way or the highway?"

Isn't the Democratic party the party of tolerance?

I stand by my post as fact not opinion.

I will allow that perception can alter ones understanding so let me ask you, how do you perceive the GOP in reference to their general approach to political philosophy and their approach to it's implementation?

How do you consider the GOP progressive? (my reference to 1800's)

Always figured the GOP as conservative until all the bible thumpers took it over and drummed out the real conservatives.

As for the Democrats I always believed Will Rogers when he said "I do not belong to any organized party, I am Democrat." Between Blue Dogs and hot dogs . . .

Wonder if the Reverend Wright is Democratic?

And by tolerance I suppose Obama's "Just push back harder" comment is right in line with that philosophy?

I'll get back with ya when I'm halfway sober.

I really do like you, but like I said, you'd make someone one hell of a good bitchy ex-wife.

LMAO, believe it or not I trust people that drink more than others.
And I certainly tend to like them better, seem to be more fun and less likely to be scared of their own shadow.
