Of course but Trump still has to sign off on any austerity measures unless there's a veto proof majority in congress (which the GOP currently lacks).

What's amazing to me is all of the folks who are writing, hoping, praying for trump to fail, and he's not even taken office yet. I suspect the folks who are doing this are the same folks who had a cow when Limbaugh said that he hoped Obama failed.
