So we know these people that want to try to equate this ID to vote as Nazi state is an ignorant attempt.
But, since you don't have to show a DL or the state-issued photo ID, at the polling place, I don't see what this has to do with the thread.

Also, it's not against the law to be without ID here. It's just that the police are authorized to determine who you are and, if you can't establish your ID, they have the option of detaining you for that purpose.

We even came through the border with our voter registration cards as identity some years back. Passports have expirred and I see no need to renew. Since a passport costs money needing one to vote is a poll tax, and that is against the law.

That's ludicrous, what class?

I don't know were the left live in their minds but as a US citizen we are all required to have ID. Without it we can get locked up or can't function day to day in society. The need for ID generally start in schools to driving to finances on and on.

If anyone is that far removed from US society not to have an ID. Then fuck em they don't need to vote on laws for the US.

It's a divisive issue.

Do you have a passport?

Making it expensive and difficult to get an id is just another poll tax Pete and you know it.

poll tax
if they figure out that most people of color have legit ids they will then want to make everyone have a passport...

I thought the Baggers were against big gov't but they sure want to drug test and poll tax everyone....

Some older people do not have their birth certificates so this impacts their ability to get the "correct ID"... when going to polls

plus Scott Walker in Wisconsin began reducing the places to get an id....in Democratic districts

pull your head out of your....
