Yes, I think so. Our laws are based on the presumption of innocence.

Relieved?

An imaginative bumper sticker. Should sell like hot cakes then.

I really doubt she will get indicted though unless they have a real case of wrongdoing, in which case this is taking way too long. More to do with politics than government secrets.

I know this sounds naïve but I honestly think if Hillary knew herself that there was a smoking gun on her server she would not run. You clowns have to remember she broke an Obama administrative rule about having a private server.

yes I mean you clown

They never proved anything about Benghazi. That whole thing was a silly witch hunt. This is about the e-mails, a separate issue. And, even though the investigation of her emails is on, an investigation is not proof of guilt. It simply means she is being investigated. There is still no "proof".

See, this is the trick. Political strategists are smart enough to know that all they have to do is launch an investigation or hold hearings and politically biased, nitwit Americans will assume guilt.

Until the investigation is concluded, they still have nothing but a hunch. I have a hunch, but my hunch is meaningless. You don't put people in jail without solid proof.....as per the United States Constitution.

I agree with you as you can see from my edited post. But why the investigation continues is a mystery though and is actually unfairly handicapping Hillary.

I think you're being quite naive about the lure of power and the arrogance of the powerful. It's very easy for me to believe that Hillary (or anyone who has wielded power for a long time) to think they could just balls this thing out until everyone gave up.

And remember all those Bush hacks in key positions that broke with tradition by refusing to resign when Obama was elected? They're still there, Robbin, just waiting for their chance. And some of them are still in State and DoJ.

The worst part of this is that, if there is something for the FBI to sink their teeth into, we're fucked. The other shoe will drop after the Convention, Hillary will be the Democratic nominee and Trump will be our next president.

Or Cruz.

Also, it's not about the mere existence of the private server or the possibility that Hillary went against an Administration policy. After all, Powell and Rice had private servers too. All those arguments are just deflections from the real problem.

The real problem is the fact that we're in a political climate where the Republicans and their operatives in and out of government will move heaven and earth do destroy their opponents. And these people have been after Hillary's scalp for a quarter century and now they smell blood because, for the first time, they have something tangible.

It's also about what's on her server and whether it constitutes a breach of security. Sure, there might have been similar problems with Rice's or Powell's server but nobody looked. They're looking now.

I think the final outcome will be that there will be no indictment but there will be a report that paints Hillary as being so arrogant, so reckless and so uncooperative that it will be more than enough to destroy her chances. This is actually the worst possible outcome for Hillary. If she's indicted, she can win in court but, if she's not indicted yet the report condemns her competence and professionalism, she can never win and never live it down.

And, no matter when the report comes out, either before or after the Convention, she won't drop out. She'll try to guts it out and she will lose. We can only hope that she loses to Sanders and not Trump or Cruz.

Naïve, is in thinking there needs to be substance or truth to allegations and charges anymore.

Even without the email scandal she has major credibility and trust issues.

Every time a poll is done it shows that the majority think she is dishonest and untrustworthy.

There are scores of Bernie supporters claiming they will not vote for her; I believe it's called "Bernie or Bust"

Trump on the other hand is gaining more and more steam as a populist and he won't shy away from mentioning every last detail of every last scandal the Clinton's have been involved in over the years.

She's in real trouble. Time to ramp up the old reliable DNC voter fraud machine.

That sometimes occurs when you have so much invested in a politician.

The politician now becomes someone who is pretty close to you.

Someone whom you know for a long time and just would not do that...is to smart etc.
