Look at the kind of shit they were up against. And this is just once case from China. Russian, Iran, and North Korea were actively engaged as well, as were the election-denier-cum-insurrectionists who tried to overthrow our government. How soon you forget.

Twitter has removed more than 170,000 accounts the social media site says are state-linked influence campaigns from China focusing on Hong Kong protests, Covid-19 and the US protests in relation to George Floyd.

The company announced on Thursday that 23,750 core accounts – and 150,000 “amplifier” accounts that boosted the content posted by those core accounts – had been removed from the platform after being linked to an influence campaign from the People’s Republic.

FACT: “Conservatives” were never banned from Twitter.

Folks who threatened people’s lives, spread dangerous COVID disinfo, plotted insurrections, and spread Nazi messages were.

The fact that these two groups overlap is an indictment of modern American conservatism—but not proof of bias.

As for the FBI collaborating with tech companies to reduce foreign influence, it's definitely a real big secret ... that has been openly publicized since 2017 on their website.
