“It’s not masks or social distancing”
*L*
Yes, we know that you love to show off your ignorance. Why you insist on continuing to do so is the question.

Driving is harmless, unless you are damaged for life, or dead, in an accident (which happens a lot). I'll avoid the name calling part though.
For what it's worth, I am in favor of the US adapting something more like the German model for getting a driver's license. I suspect that over two thirds of American drivers would lose their license to drive.

Hmmmm....maybe Insane should take a deeper look into items that he posts, to wit: “. Johan Carlson, the director-general of Sweden's public health agency, credited the "effect of us keeping up the social distancing" for the decline.”
Uh-oh! Blows Insane’s “insight” out of the water!

And as for South Dakota, perhaps Insane has never heard of “population density”. Yes, the “success” against the COVID in SD is basically a result of NATURAL social distancing. The less population density, the easier the social distancing. Eh?

So say you're in one of those two groups and get Covid-19 and it is worse for you than the flu or a cold. What then? Those hospitals and care personnel don't have anything else to do right? Buck up buddy, you'll suffer but you probably won't die so why worry? If you die well then we'll just have one less place to set at the dinner table. Covid-19 parties all around!

Don't try to talk to me. Even if I slip and engage to the slightest degree with the lying garbage you put out.

This year's flu season is shaping up to be possibly less severe than the 2017-2018 season, when 61,000 deaths were linked to the virus. However, it could equal or surpass the 2018-2019 season's 34,200 flu-related deaths.
Overall, the CDC estimates that 12,000 and 61,000 deaths annually since 2010 can be blamed on the flu.
So how does that compare to 134,884 in just over four monhs….and counting.
Obviously, the virus is much more deadly than the flu even though Insane repeatedly tries to compare the two. Hmmmm….wonder where he gets his information?
During a March 4 call with Hannity, Trump also compared coronavirus with the flu. He mentioned that the flu kills anywhere between 27,000 and 77,000 people every year, implying that coronavirus isn’t as serious of a threat to public health as Influenza.
So who to believe: Dr Fauci and other virus and epidemic experts....or Trump and Insane?
That one is easy.
BTW, the "COVID is on worse than the flu" is yet another right-wing talking point that we have all heard stated over and over from them. Yes, they do love to show off their ignorance.

With this virus less then a year old in humans from the looks of it. There is not a person alive who can have an answer to what is in store long term. Who it will effect and how.
It would be prudent and wise to treat this new bug with extreme caution rather then a lackadaisical or foolish measures. All of the people I know who have had it to a one, say it is the worst they ever felt. Takes forever to feel better. They range in ages from senior's to young children.
