History goes in cycles and we are in a Regressive period right now. With the rise of conservatism and fundamentalists needing to play out before a true progressive enlightenment phase can happen again.

It ebbs and flows from one extreme to the other historically. One over reaches and the other steps in.

In my mind, I identify this country most admirably with the Progressive advances elucidated in the linked article. I wouldn't like living in a country without them.

In general, I'll be happy with how another Clinton administration treats us.
They won't screw me on my Social Security and they'll protect Medicare.
Along with Sen. Warren, Sanders and Franken, she'll kick Wall St. into line and raise taxes on the 1% till they squeal.

Yes, he really is serious, Bob suffers from the worst case of Clintonitis this side of Mississippi.

Obama made the Bush tax cuts which was bankrupting the country permanent. He was the "Hope and Change" guy. Hillary has a long list of IOU's and she is going to kick Wall Street in the balls?

Hillary Delusion Syndrome in effect.

No unions.
Six day, 10 to 12 hours a day work week.
No OSHA< EPA< MSHA <DOL <NIOSH <FDA
No safety departments at work.
No Social Security, no national parks, no clean air, no clean water, no public works departments
No consumer protection agency
No regulated banks
With no unions, we end up with zero job benefits
No prevailing wage scale

We would be much closer to Nigeria than Sweden in our quality of life.

No chit. I live in S.E. Virginia and the heat, bugs, rednecks and humidity get unbearable...... I can't imagine what the deep south is like with all that swampy pestilence.
