Congress' approval rating stands at 15% but after this bit of tomfoolery it will likely drop to 10%. There is some rich Texan and friends running a supr PAC especially aiming at incumbents regardless of party.

They would just be the casualties of "The War On Congress"

Except for one small detail, ATF was running the whole deal and Obama and Holder had nowt to do with it. When Holder was informed of it he shut it down.
Also there was no conclusive evidence that Agent Terry was shot by either of the two rifles found beside his body.

They have not been successful at every turn, I suspect that if the voters know their representative is good they will keep them, just as we did here with Ben Cardin.

Right, and that is how it should be.
Voting someone out of office, just because he/she is in office and vote in whoever just happens to be running against them, regardless of qualification doesn't sound like a very intelligent move to me.
To my mind, gimmicks like this are what push us further down the road to ruin.
A properly informed and motivated electorate is the only answer. We'll never get there with simpleminded gimmicks and propaganda soaked, misinformed, "Birther" types cramming themselves into the booths to vote based on their blind, deluded angst.
This is how we end up with candidates (and Presidents) nobody really likes..............

I love the newest conspiracy theory Lush Limpballs is promoting. It went viral on right wing sites a few days ago. The NRA is trumpeting it.
The F&F gun running program was being used to get as many guns into the hands of the drug cartels, as they could, so they could continue their war with the Mexican government. When the killing spills onto American soil it will outrage the American people so much that they will demand an assault weapons ban. Obama and crew will take that and run with it until they have taken all our guns away and have trampled all over the Second Amendment.
Right wing bullshit never ends. Obama has done nothing to control guns in anyway. He is not going to if he gets a second term.
I would be surprised if the whole Contempt of Congress thing blows up in the Republicans faces. The house will vote along party lines and Holder will be found in contempt of Congress. It will be the first time in US history that a top level cabinet member has been found to be in contempt of Congress. It is a complete waist of time. The issue is DOA when it is turned over to the DC courts. It has no legal legs to stand on civilly or criminally.

I'd like to learn what you know about southern Arizona, not what you've read or what you've heard but what you've actually seen with your own two jaundiced eyes.

Holder handed this issue to Issa and his knuckledragging minions with his letter in which he denied that any such program existed. I'm a fan of telling the truth, taking your lumps and moving on, particularly in the political realm. Both parties are so afraid of any transgression/f*ck-up being turned into a campaign issues that they turn themselves into pretzels to avoid it. Pretty unsavory, IMHO.
