I think there has been some misconception about me in this thread. I have never said or suggested that I am an itellectual. I have stated in other posts, quite truthfully, the various tests that I have taken put my IQ in the 99th percentile but that is by no means the same thing. That indicates that I possibly had/have the potential to become an intellectual but as there was no money and no scholarships I did not have the opportunity to get a BA or even to go on for an MA in Philosophy as I would have loved to do. I did get to know the Professor who held the Chair in Philosophy at McGill University and had the run of his library for a time. But earning a living and supporting a home takes time and effort leaving little time for reading. Having married quite young the first time my earnings had by no means reached their full potential. Even with what I did manage to read there was no one around to discuss my ideas with in any case.
