Yes, Gerry was the crafter of lots of good songs. I was quite sad when I heard of his death. Speaking of song crafters, do you like John Hiatt?

Bonnie Raitt covered Right Down the Line on Colbert last night. It paled, however, compared to the original.

Bhunter - Big John Hiatt fan here. Slow Turning and Bring the Family are my favorites of his albums.

Damn we have good taste. I'm also listening to Nashville Skyline. It is definitely one of my favorite Dylan albums, then again, I can't think of one I dislike.

Here are the earlier selections:

John Phillips John, The Wolf King of LA
Johnny Rivers Live at the Whisky A Go Go
The Association Greatest Hits
Vanessa Mae China Girl 1997
Bela Fleck and the Flacktones Greatest Hits of the 20th Century 1999

Levon Helm Ramble at the Ryman 2011

His voice isn't as strong, but this is an excellent album.

I guess I'm kind of lame, but I like Glenn Miller, Count Basie, and if that ain't enough to make you puke, I'm kind of partial to Bobby Vinton and The Four Freshmen.

Smooth sailing...that's me.

if you like silky smooth, you probably like Jackie Gleason's orchestra.

Listening to an Amad Jamal album (Poinsiana) that I picked up at the antique mall on the way to STL.

Regards,
