Enjoy your holiday, everyone! He is risen!

Prepping food for the grille.

New York strips/ Montreal Steak seasoning, asparagus in garlic butter, and roasted red potatoes.

All washed down with Guiness Black Ale!

Happy Easter to all! Smoked leg of lamb here, small green peas with mushrooms and cocktail onions, and roasted potatoes with a spice mixture only my wife knows.

Thanks, Dave..........I hope so too. He has been at home the last few weeks with a pump that pumps medicine into him. Nurses coming and going.....tests and more tests and he isn't getting any better, but, he isn't getting any worse. I'm trying hard to be the glass-is-half-full kind of gal, but, I'm a bit discouraged lately.

Back last night from our trip to SW Virginia, Nashville, Chattanooga, Atlanta and Lake Gaston, NC. Had a great time.

Tonight it's roasted leg of lamb with roasted rosemary red potatoes; green beans with olive oil, garlic and lemon juice; a salad of spring greens with gorgonzola, walnuts, dried cranberries with a raspberry vinaigrette. All to be washed down with Chateau St. Jean California Cabernet.

Best of wishes,

Sounds like quite a road trip.

Does it feel good to be home?
