Saw them once at a funky dinner theater here in Costa Mesa, the assholes wouldn't even let anyone dance. That's tough proposition cause that band makes you want to move your feats. Galaxy club has the worst overpriced dreck for food. rant over I do like Little Feat a bunch tho.

I love Eva's voice, but every time I listen to her I feel sad.
Eva Cassidy is another artist to whom AK introduced me. We can be grateful that she left such a lovely legacy.

Regards,

D-Ray

Have you heard Katie Melua? She is also very good. Eva was a big influence on her.

Todays listening entree:

Schoenberg String Quartets 1-4 Arditti String Quartet 1993

Jumping the gun by a day here, but tomorrow night I will be listening to Leo Kottke perform live at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City. It will the the eighth time for me to see him - over the course of 36 years. In addition to his magnificent guitar work, he is a world class storyteller.

Regards,

D-Ray

He is playing up the road here in a few days also. I had hopped to see him but another soccer conflict got in the way.

Enjoy!

Are there any Kid Rock fans? I just saw him on "Live from the Artist Den" and was very impressed by both him and his very good backing band. Previously, I only heard his early rap stuff. This was almost gospel revival music.
