'Obama - We Tried (kinda)'

'No We Can't'

'Change - We Really Mean It This Time'

'Hope. That Geithner Gets It Right'

'GOP Equals Bad'

I'm just yanking chains. I miss Sandy too, and thought about John watching the news the other night.

I left my money in my 401k. I didn't have a greater % to add though.

Neither did I, really. I cut other bills, YMCA membership, reduced cable t.v. package, and a few other budget adjustments to pay for it. When the market plateaued for a while at 11k, I reduced it to 8%. When it started to rise again, I increased to 12%---where it sits as we speak.

It's a roller coaster ride.

Of course you won't. See, you have no pension, won't be able to afford to self-pay medical bills and if Senator Ryan gets his way, any assistance from Uncle Sam will be gone long before then as well. And you can't live off of air, now can you? But, hey. Look at all of the money the billionaires will get to keep. That should make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

There's always the lottery...........

LOL! But I'm not sure anyone would want to eat me

My mom would say, England Expects Every Man To Do His Duty.

(you could hear the capitalization in vocal inflection)

It would have gone much deeper and lasted longer, IMO. I just don't buy the whole doing nothing is better line. Unless you're wealthy enough to ride it out without ending up living under an overpass.

Cycles my friend, cycles. I'm glad those experts in Washington have such a fine handle on macroeconomics. have you looked at the jokers in the Obama economic deck?

That's because they are far smarter than mere GOP folks and have a much broader and deeper perspective on just about everything. If you don't believe me, just ask them. That they are a bunch of pompous assholes is just a side issue. The whole concept of forcing people to act in a certain manner is anathema to a free society, regardless whether it is good for the individual, but that is precisely what underlies most of the left's agenda.

That would depend on the issue.
