I love how the right is justifying stalking and murder.
Let me ask you this Pete, ever been in a bar fight? Think it's ok to pull a gun and kill the guy because after you started trouble he got the upper hand?
and BTW we don't know if the kid even through the first punch!!!!!
Alll we know for sure is that fat man targeted the kid, followed the kid, chased the kid and they killed the kid with a gun while the kid was unarmed.
I can see why you are so determined to defend the fat man.

I don't know what happened. What I do know is that a neighborhood watch man followed someone he didn't recognise.
Did he chase him down and kill him in cold blood? Did Trayvon jump Zimmerman and beat him? We might never know. But it's already been set up so that even if he's found innoccent, it's because he has connections.
Why do you hate fat people?

So you're ok with the kid being dead because the guy didn't recognize him?

Apparently not.
Have you seen the video? And, he does have connections and it does matter. That's how cover-ups work. The connected are protected by those they're connected too. It can be done without a word being spoken about it. All it takes is a former colleague who is still on the bench to look at a docket and think, "That's Judge Zimmermans boy...."......done deal.
Why are you so determined to defend him? Because the case represents an armed citizen ostensibly "defending his community"?

Erik, no.
Dave, I refuse to jump on the lynching bandwagon. And I will defend the right of citizens to police their own community. If the man in question did wrong, so be it, he should have to face the punishment. If he gets off unfairly, that is the communities problem (or perhaps the FBIs) and still does not justify disbanding or disarming neighborhood watch groups or my right to carry.
And we know darn well that's what this is about.

Unless the community doesn't care that he got off unfairly.
And if this is the case, then it would be a perfect example of why such wannabe yahoos belong on a leash. True dat.
If "freedom" entails allowing a vigilante society, then I say it has become necessary to curb freedom. Anything else is foolishness. Think about it objectively; I can KILL someone just because I feel threatened and I don't even have to prove there was a clear and present threat? That's not a free society, it's a society run by self appointed, wannabe cowboys playing judge, jury and executioner. No thanks, this is just another form of tyranny.

Pete,
You and I seem to value human life very differently.
What this is actually about is an apparently innocent young man getting shot for nothing more than going for a walk.

He was not protecting his community. That was simple the name of the badge he had on his chest.
This along with the NRA made him a murderer and it's makes a debate about banning guns and/or armed community groups very valid.
