I'm NOT trying to be an ass but, if you've already decided that no input can modify said process, I'm forced to question if it exists? (And conclusions that ADD to the problem don't strike me as viable.)
As for working in prisons and carousing for felons, I don't really believe it added to me as a human being: but it does teach you what a dangerous person is and who is a punk.
I don't know about the kid, yet, but Zimmerman is a punk.

The first half of this is 75% correct. The other 25% is an unknown but speculation leans to no.
The last half is a bit backwards of how our system works. The State bears the burden of proving that Zimmerman was not defending himself. The rest of us are to presume he's innocent until the State has proven his guilt, if I remember correctly.

The black and white thing in this case was caused by the media. I do not think that there was any racism involved.

I had a chance to listen to a lot about this case today because I had lots of windshield time.
There is absolutely no evidence that Zimmerman was assaulted. He did not go to the hospital that night, and the first police report made no mention of any injuries to Zimmerman's body. The next day he went to the hospital and there was an amended police report filed to reflect the injuries.
Call me crazy, but I would let someone bust my nose and beat my head on the ground so that I could manufacture a "self defense" angle when the police just let me go after a fatal shooting, and I was the shooter. That in itself is very suspicious. This police department is doing it's best to cover Zimmerman's ass. The big question is, "why?"

Not only Zimmerman's but the PD needs to cover up the facts. I agree the injuries due to self defense seems suspicious especially the way it has come out.
By the way Zimmerman's father is a retired judge.

I am not a lawyer but I feel confident I could walk Zimmerman. I would not try to poke holes in the states case, because there isn't one.

Wow, did not know that fact. If he was a judge who favored the cops in his career, some of this is starting to make sense to me.

I could covict him in a second if the jury was not racist.
The guy ran after the kid for no reason, caught him, a scuffel ensured and he shot him.
This is an open and shut case.

As I've been told before. the real dangerous people are the ones aren't conciously trying to prove they are badass, those are the punks.
The real dangerous people are the ones who really believe EVERYTHING they do, no matter how wrong or brutal, is justified and that it's the rest of the world that doesn't get it.
I know it's t.v., but on "Lockup" one night they had a psychologist interviewing the worst people on death row. They asked one Dude, who had killed four of his closest friends, including his girlfriend, in his own apartment why he did it.
"I asked them to leave and the MF'ers didn't move, they argued with me. What was I supposed to do? Just sit there and listen to that shit?"
