Damn Blue, that amp is enough to yield a nice hernia. Vandersteens are nice. I met Richard several times during the early development of the Vandersteen 2s back in 1979. He's an interesting individual. I used to frequent an audio store in Fresno California where he'd periodically show up to test his speakers. IIRC the amps were Audio Research and a Revox RTR supplied the source. I spent many an afternoon at that audio store listening to The Wall on stuff I couldn't afford.

That's a beautiful room. I love the color contrast between the leather and the green not to mention the big amps with big blue meters. Do you also have a hernia? The two McIntosh owners have hernias? I thought I was going to get one when I helped a friend move a 425lb Krell subwoofer.
Here's what it looked like: http://www.krellonline.com/sub.html
