I'll tell you Merry,
When we conceived our first baby, we were filled with joy and hope for our baby. I was concerned with all of the things that could go wrong, too much reading.
We watched as she grew and wondered at the beauty and creation of life. And when she was born, I was there to see her enter the world, and uttered her first sounds.
It was a beautiful and wonderful experience to behold.
We called it bringing life into the world.
Now if I were a Liberal Merry, I would say something nasty about you here.
Bill

That one went right by you like a Porsche 911 passing a Chevy Vega. It may come to you as news, BB, but you weren't pregnant.

I suppose that he is apologizing for giving the Democratic Left something to scream and cry about, distracting everyone for the abysmal job Obama is doing in Washington.
This is the specialty of the liberal left, to distract everyone form truly important subject matters.

Wow Finn,
I guess that you have never had a child, and I thought that if any mortal could it would be you.
But WE had a child together, I didn't run off to the Pub to celebrate with the lads, and wait until my child was born to hand out cigars.
I was there for my wife and unborn child, and will be forever.
I understood the question, you just could not understand the answer.
Life can be such a beautiful thing, I am sorry that you missed it.

That sounds about right D-Ray,
However there are exceptions to every rule, and mental deficients that skew the final analysis.
The Enforce the Law has you D-Ray, any night on the street will turn any liberal into a God Fearing Conservative

So, you want to close don't religious schools? Terrific. What a wonderful tolerant lot today's liberal are.
And, of course, the tax dollars it receives are in exchange for services performed. They aren't gifts from Uncle Sam.

First sentence - wrong. She believes that it's wrong for the school to prevent the insurance she paid for from providing a prescription medication, and that it is wrong for the school to make a woman endure cross-examination in order to receive such medication.
Second sentence. Wrong. If religions institutions are going to operate in the secular sphere, however, they must comply with secular law.
Third sentence. Wrong. The funding supports the institution's function as an educational institution. To the extent that it performs services for any of the federal funding it receives, it becomes a federal vendor. You wanna do business with the feds, you do it by the same rules as anyone else.

D-Ray

There's an old adage in politics. Never interrupt the opposition while they're busy destroying themselves. In case you've missed it, the GOP is destroying its chances with 52% of the electorate.

She should have looked at the plan info before she bought it. Maybe she wouldn't be bitching so much now.

Wrong. Even mom and pop employer can design a plan that includes coverage for some procedures but excludes coverage for others.

Wrong The Fed has never specified the terms of a Federal Contractor's health plan. The Fed does specify the terms that contractors must abide by, but specific content of a group health plan, or ancillary health plan, has never been on the table.
Also, Federal Contracting rules - those that govern the actual terms of the contract and have an economic impact on the contractor - are typically codified in law, not presidential fiat.
Besides, that ain't Fluke's beef. She wants the government to push employers - ALL employers, not just Federal contractors - to include free contraceptive coverage in their health policies. She wants the government to support reproductive rights and freedoms and all that, dontcha see.

When I was young, I knew exactly where I stood on a personal level with the issue of abortion.
Then, thirty two years ago, when neo natal medicine was in it's infancy, I delivered twins at twenty six weeks.
Since that time, my viewpoint on abortion has become quite a bit more complicated.
Having said that.... I still think every woman should have the choice along with the medical advice of a doctor.
