"Good name in man and woman, dear my lord,
Is the immediate jewel of their souls.
Who steals my purse steals trash; 'tis something, nothing;
'Twas mine, 'tis his, and has been slave to thousands;
But he that filches from me my good name
Robs me of that which not enriches him,
And makes me poor indeed."
Shakespeare (Othello)

If only we knew the true life stories of the candidates, and the past presidents ?
Money and power make for strange bedfellows, and just because they can, they do.
Ike was no choirboy, it took decades for it to all come out. Kennedy had the women sneak in through the back White House door, Chilton had them right in the Oval Office, OMG
But this election everyone is just stuck with the clowns running for office, not pretty, not presidential, just there.
But who would realy want that job ? I know that I wouldn't want it, even if it were offered to me without all of the press bull shit. The job sucks, and at best it's a circus and the president is the ringleader.
May the Supreme Being Please Help us ALL.

When a political party looses an election (Dem or Rep) the loosing party is almost never happy...during the reign of the elected one. To many... we are in the toilet. A decent/"good" GOP candidate? Is that not subjective? Do you know how many candidates we would need to fit that bill? You cannot fill the wants/needs of all people.
I believed we would have the "CHANGES" promised in the last election.
I personally...at this point in time... would vote for Mickey Mouse.

Let me guess...you have a Canadian in mind? You said you were better off since Obama. Because of him or your Canadian interests?
So your set for life. many are not and will not be until jobs are created.

You know that is the interesting part, not one of those clowns has said a word about how they will create jobs. They all wan to bomb Iran, give amnesty to illegals, Paul wants to legalize hard drugs, Mitt wanted to bet Perry $10,000 . . . but where are the jobs?
I am OK because I worked for an honest company that would never think of declaring bankrutcy so they could raid their pension funds, that seems to be a popular pastime among the airlines. Of course you and I will be paying some of their pensions through the Pension Benefit Guarantee Corporation. The poor sods won't get all they were promised but the taxpayer will be there again to bail out the corporations.
BTW why would I propose a Canadian, you have to be born here or had you forgotten. Of course Walt did have an Irish Canadian father.

Forgotten?? No...many have opinions on their ideal candidate. I assume your's would be Canadian .
IMO the choice of VP could possibly be the deal breaker for either party.
I doubt seriously that Biden will seek another term.

I'm sure that Biden has the place on the ticket if he wants it.

From my point of view.....The Supreme Being doesn't care. Never has, never will.
That's half of the problem, we're all waiting for either the High Holy Heebeegeebee, Superman or Saint Ronnie (To come back from the dead.) and save us. And it ISN'T happening. We have to fix this on our own.
I believe there are things we do, or could be doing to help each other along. And, I have no problem with that. (Some would say that makes me a socialist. I say it just makes me human.)
However,
Ultimately the quality of the individuals life is based on the individuals desire and drive for a better life. If one has no desire or ambition to improve his position, he never will regardless of the socioeconomic system he lives under.
